The school year is very quickly coming to an end with Graduation on Friday June 17th. I hope you are all planning on attending.
We have some important opportunities for you to get more involved in New Vista School. With the end of the school year, it is time to select new Parent Guild Leadership. If you are interested in any of the leadership positions outlined below, please email me with which position you are interested in.
We are in the process of planning our 7th Annual Swing for Autism Golf Tournament and we are looking for volunteers for our committee. Please email me if you are interested in joining the planning committee.
We will be offering physical education (PE) during Summer School and we will be adding it three days a week during the regular school year. If your child is on a diploma track, please be sure to sign them up for PE so they can get enough credits prior to their graduation.
We are creating a Parent portal on the new website that will allow parents to communicate with the school and each other. You will also be able to pay for tuition, events, yearbooks, fieldtrips, etc. through the portal.
We have installed new water filtration systems in the Café and the sink located outside Mrs. Masri’s room. Please send your child to school with a lidded water container that they can refill.
If you have not signed up for Summer School and you would like to, please notify us ASAP. We are creating the schedules at this time.
We all wish you a wonderful summer vacation.
Sincerely,
Ms. Proctor
