Rolling Admissions
New Vista School has a rolling admissions process and accepts applications throughout the school year.
Our Admissions process is designed to help us get to know your child and to allow you to become familiar with our school. Throughout the admissions process, these steps will provide both family and staff the opportunity to determine if New Vista is a positive fit for your child.

School Tour
We begin the process with a tour of the school to learn about the program and to see firsthand the students and teachers interacting in our classes.
Student Visit
We also require your child to visit with us for 1-2 days. This will provide your child with a first-hand experience of New Vista School. During this time, he/she will interact with peers and experience classroom expectations. Our staff will have the opportunity to observe, assess, and interact with your child. We will meet with you at the end of the student visit.
Admissions Committee
Following the school visit, staff observations are collected and shared with the Admissions Committee. Once the Admissions Committee has reached a decision you will be notified whether or not your child will be admitted to New Vista School.
Additional Support
There are times when additional support for your child may be requested along with the acceptance letter. Probationary period, a support plan, or an aide may be requested. These tools are sometimes needed to assure a smooth transition with appropriate support to find success at New Vista School.
Anti-Discrimination Policy
New Vista School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship programs, and other school administered programs.
